This 1975 Triumph TR6 was refurbished under previous ownership and was acquired by the seller in 2021. It is finished in Delft Blue over a blue interior and is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Features include a replacement black soft top, 15″ steel wheels, a luggage rack, a Mota-Lita steering wheel, and woodgrain interior trim. Work completed in 2020 is said to have included a rebuild of the Stromberg carburetors, the installation of polyurethane suspension bushings, and replacing the exhaust, front brakes, and front suspension components.
The car was refinished in Delft Blue with Union Jack decals under previous ownership, at which time a replacement black soft top was installed. Exterior features include a chin spoiler, chrome bumpers with rubber overriders, bullet-style side mirrors, a luggage rack, and a replacement exhaust system with twin outlets. Paint chips are noted by the seller. Boot and tonneau covers are included in the sale.
Steel 15″ wheels feature chrome beauty rings and wear 205/70 Sentury Touring tires. Work completed in 2020 is said to have included the installation of polyurethane suspension bushing and replacing the front brakes and front suspension components.
The interior features bucket seats upholstered in replacement blue vinyl along with black door panels and carpets. Triumph-branded mats line the footwells and are joined in the cabin by chrome door handles and a woodgrain dashboard.
The wood-rimmed Mota-Lita steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer, while auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage are present in the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 79k miles.
The 2.5-liter inline-six is equipped with twin Stromberg carburetors that were reportedly rebuilt in 2020.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The frame is said to have been coated with POR-15 under previous ownership.
