Finished from the factory in Thunderbird Bronze (Q), the body was removed from the frame, stripped to bare metal, and repainted in 2010. The seller notes that the frame was repainted at that time. Exterior features include a hood scoop, hooded headlamps, faux fender louvers, rear fender skirts, chrome bumpers, and tail fins. An uninstalled ivory soft top and a removable hardtop are included in the sale.
Body-colored steel wheels feature turbine-style covers and are mounted with whitewall tires.
The bench seat is trimmed in bronze vinyl with pleated inserts, and the cabin features a matching dash, visors, and door panels complemented with darker carpeting and turned-metal trim. Pink shag-carpet floor mats line the footwells, and the car is equipped with a heater.

The 312ci Thunderbird Special V8 was equipped from the factory with a single Holley four-barrel carburetor and ribbed Thunderbird-script valve covers. Factory-rated output was 245 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. The engine was reportedly rebuilt around 2012, while more recent service is said to include an oil change and a replacement battery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission.
