The 5.0-liter M70 V12 was factory-rated at 295 horsepower and 332 lb-ft, and its aluminum engine block was reportedly replaced by BMW in 2004. A replacement heater control valve was installed in August 2021, and the cooling system was refilled and bled.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed automative transmission. A protective coating was applied to the underside of the car in 2020, according to the seller.
