A center console-mounted plaque indicates this chassis is the 53rd B10 BiTurbo built.
The four-spoke airbag steering wheel frames an Alpina-branded instrument cluster featuring a 320-km/h speedometer, a tachometer with an inset fuel economy readout, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer shows 84k kilometers (~52k miles).
The 3.4-liter inline-six was modified by Alpina with twin Garrett T25 turbochargers, an intercooler, lightweight Mahle pistons, and a revised cylinder head and camshaft. Output was rated at 355 horsepower and 348 lb-ft of torque when new. A Zender strut-brace has been installed, and service in January 2021 involved replacement of the exhaust manifold gaskets, spark plug wires, ignition coil, engine mounts, and power steering fluid. Work performed in September 2021 included an oil change, coolant flush, and replacement of the thermostat, temperature sending unit, and oil pressure switch.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.
