The body was reportedly removed from the frame and fitted with a replacement tailgate before it was repainted in Copper Brown Brandywine. Harvest Moon beige trim accents the grille, hood, and cab, and additional exterior details include a single-piece windshield, smoked side and rear windows, dual side mirrors, running boards, and a step-side bed with a pine floor. Spray-on bed-liner material is applied to the running boards, inside the wheel wells, and on both sides of the cab floor.
Body-color 16″ steel wheels wear chrome trim rings, Ford-branded hubcaps, and Tornel tires. A matching spare is mounted to the side of the bed. The truck is equipped with power-assisted four-wheel drum brakes.
The two-tone cabin features a reupholstered bench seat trimmed in leather and equipped with lap belts. Additional amenities include a cowl ventilation system, cup holders, center console storage, and a Lokar floor-mounted shifter.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames aftermarket instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, coolant temperature, and voltage. The seller notes the speedometer and coolant temperature gauge read inaccurately. The odometer shows 91 miles, which is said to represent the distance traveled since the refurbishment was completed. Total mileage is unknown.
The replacement 255ci flathead V8 was reportedly sourced from a 1953 Mercury and was rebuilt by All-Pro Automotive Machine in Denver, Colorado. The engine features 0.060″ over cylinders, triple Stromberg carburetors, Fenton headers, a dual exhaust system, and an aluminum radiator with an electric fan.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed Ford C4 automatic transmission that was rebuilt prior to installation.
