This 1950 Ford Custom Tudor Sedan was built during previous ownership and acquired by the current owner in 2013. The bodywork has been modified with a lower roofline and is finished in black with custom pinstripes, shaved door handles, and “frenched” lighting. Power is provided by a flathead V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and a 9″ rear axle, and additional equipment includes Offenhauser cylinder heads, Fatman lowering spindles and front disc brakes, a Bluetooth stereo, electric door poppers, black vinyl and cloth bench seats, and 15″ Radir wheels.
The roof was reportedly chopped four inches in the front and three inches out back, while additional body modifications include deleted vent windows, shaved door handles and emblems, and “frenched” taillights and Juliano’s headlamps. Red and white pinstripes were added to the black paintwork, and the car also features grille inserts sourced from a C1 Corvette, Oldsmobile bumpers, and electric door poppers.
Polished 15″ Radir wheels are wrapped in 6.70R15 wide-whitewall Firestone tires. The car is equipped with Fatman front disc brakes and lowering spindles.
The bench seats are upholstered in black vinyl with cloth inserts, and red and white pinstripes accent the body-color dashboard. Amenities include a Bluetooth stereo, a refurbished Magic Air heater, and an analog clock.
A cream-finished two-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer. The five-digit odometer indicates under 5k miles. True mileage is unknown.
The 8BA flathead V8 is equipped with a single Stromberg carburetor and was reportedly overhauled during the build with an aftermarket crankshaft, Offenhauser cylinder heads, an MSD distributor, an aftermarket air cleaner, and polished coolant lines. A signature from automotive fabricator Gene Winfield is present under the hood.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a three-speed C4 automatic transmission and a Ford 9″ rear axle.
