This 1966 Chevrolet Biscayne began life as a six-cylinder two-door sedan that was first sold at Brown & Hoeye Chevrolet in Mesa, Arizona, and it was acquired by the current owner in 2019 out of Michigan. The car was refurbished and modified by its previous owner approximately six years ago, with work said to have included a repaint of the exterior, refinishing the frame, and replacement of the powertrain. Its 468ci V8 is paired with a T-10 four-speed manual transmission, and additional modifications include a limited-slip rear end, a Hurst shifter, and a dual exhaust system with MagnaFlow mufflers and electronically actuated exhaust cutouts.
The body was refinished in its factory color of Ermine White (C-C) during prior ownership according to the seller. Equipment includes body-color post trim, a side mirror, quad headlights, and 427 badging on the front fenders.
The body-color steel wheels wear chrome hubcaps and are mounted with BFGoodrich tires. A spare wheel and jacking equipment are stored within the trunk.
A two-tone blue color scheme is carried throughout the interior, including the dual bench seats seat, carpeting, door panels, and dashboard. Additional features include a Hurst shifter, a pair of auxiliary gauges mounted at the base of the dashboard, and lap belts for the front and rear occupants. The car is not equipped with a radio.
The vinyl-wrapped steering wheel frames a sweeping 120-mph speedometer, an AutoMeter tachometer, and a fuel level gauge. Approximately 8k miles are shown on the five-digit odometer, with total mileage unknown.
A 454ci V8 stroked to displace 468 cubic inches was installed during prior ownership, and it features a dual-snorkel air intake and a dual exhaust system equipped with MagnaFlow mufflers and electronically actuated cutouts. Power is routed to the rear wheels via a Borg-Warner T-10 four-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt housing with a Positraction limited-slip differential and 3.73:1 gearing.
