This 1967 Porsche 912 is said to have spent time in Arizona, where it was acquired by the seller in 2013 and moved to Florida in 2018. A painted spare wheel mounted with a Nankang tire is fitted in the front trunk. Bilstein shocks are fitted, and the brake calipers are said to have been rebuilt under the seller’s ownership.
The cabin features seats trimmed in black leatherette along with matching door panels and carpeting. Brushed aluminum-look trim accents the dash, and equipment includes a Blaupunkt AM/FM radio, a locking glove compartment, lap belts, and Porsche-branded floor mats. Replacement shifter bushings are said to have been installed since the seller’s purchase.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames green-letter VDO instrumentation including a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, a 120-mph speedometer, and an inoperable clock. The five-digit odometer shows under 3k miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The air-cooled 1.6L flat-four is equipped with dual Solex 40II carburetors that are said to have been rebuilt under the seller’s ownership. Additional work performed under current ownership included replacing the spark plugs and installing an Optima Yellow Top battery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transaxle. An electric fuel pump and replacement fuel filter were installed under the seller’s ownership. The car received awards at the 2015 and 2016 Porsche 912 East Coast Rendezvous and 2017 Eastern Pennsylvania Porsche Club of America.
