The body is finished in Championship White (NH0) with a matching front lip spoiler, side skirts, and a rear wing. The Type R was introduced for the Japanese domestic market in 1995 and featured revised front and rear styling as well as decals to differentiate it from the standard Integra. JDM cars were sold under the Honda brand and further distinguished by a unique front end treatment with enclosed headlights.
Factory 15″ alloy wheels are finished in white and are fitted with 195/55 Dunlop Enasave tires. The Type R featured thicker sway bars in addition to revised springs and shocks when compared to the standard Integra.

The leather-trimmed MOMO steering wheel frames a 10k-rpm tachometer, 190-km/h speedometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The six-digit mechanical odometer indicates 137k kilometers (~85k miles).
The 1.8-liter B18C DOHC inline-four was rated at 197 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 131 lb-ft of torque at 7,200 rpm for the Japanese market. Features include an 11.0:1 compression ratio, VTEC variable valve timing, a tubular exhaust manifold, a Type R-branded strut brace, and a red valve cover. The seller reports that the oil was last changed in May 2019.
Power is delivered to the front wheels via a close-ratio five-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential.
