The 4.9-liter S62 V8 features double-VANOS variable valve timing and was factory rated at 394 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The VANOS system was overhauled and an anti-rattle kit was installed in October 2017, at which time the valve cover gaskets and spark plugs were replaced. The seller states the oil was changed in preparation for the sale, and records indicate the valve cover gaskets were replaced in October 2017.
