This 2003 Porsche 911 Targa is finished in Guards Red over black leather and powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a sliding panoramic roof panel, 18″ Carrera wheels, power-adjustable and heated front seats, automatic climate control, xenon headlights, and a Porsche Classic Communication Management stereo with navigation. The car was first delivered to Anderson-Behel Porsche of San Jose and remained in California through its acquisition by its current owner in March 2020, and it now has 30k miles. An LN Engineering IMS bearing retrofit kit and replacement clutch components were installed in 2020, and additional recent service included replacement of the wiring harness, ignition components, water pump, oil separator, drive belt, clutch components, and tires.
The exterior is finished in Guards Red and features an electric sliding glass roof panel, xenon headlights with washers, integrated fog lights, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and polished exhaust outlets.
Optional 18″ Carrera wheels with colored Porsche-crest center caps wear Michelin Pilot Sport tires that were mounted in March 2021.
The cabin features heated and power-adjustable front seats upholstered in black leather, and the color-coordinated carpets are protected by Porsche-branded floor mats. Amenities include automatic climate control, power windows, cruise control, and a Porsche Classic Communication Management stereo with navigation. The window regulator in the passenger door was replaced in preparation for the sale. Aftermarket audio equipment installed during prior ownership was removed and is included in the sale.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames instrumentation including a central 8k-rpm tachometer, a 200-mph speedometer, and gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates just under 30k miles.
The 3.6-liter M96 flat-six was factory rated at 320 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque when new. A single-row IMS bearing retrofit kit from LN Engineering was installed in September 2020, and an engine-out service following rodent damage was performed in March 2021 that included the installation of 997-specification coil packs and replacement of the following components:

- Expansion tank
- Oil separator
- Drive belt
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. A replacement clutch kit and clutch pedal spring were installed in September 2020.
The window sticker lists colors and equipment along with a total price of $82,370. Manufacturer’s literature, a Griot’s Garage car cover, removed audio components, additional literature, a scale model, and recent service records are also included in the sale.
