This 2005 Porsche Boxster is finished in Guards Red with a black soft top over black leather and powered by a 2.7-liter flat-six mated to a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes automatic climate control, heated seats, a wind deflector, xenon headlights, 18″ Boxster S wheels, auto-dimming mirrors with an integrated rain sensor, and a CD stereo with Bose surround sound. The car was purchased by the seller from its original owner in 2013 in New Jersey, and it has subsequently spent time in Pennsylvania, Maryland, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Recent service included replacement of the battery and an oil change.
The exterior is finished in Guards Red and features a power-operated black soft top, roll hoops with an integrated wind deflector, bi-xenon headlights with washers, integrated fog lights, side air intakes, and a central exhaust outlet.
Optional 18″ Boxster S wheels wear colored Porsche-crest center caps and are fitted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Braking is handled by cross-drilled discs with Porsche-branded calipers at all four corners.
The cabin features heated seats upholstered in black leather with perforated inserts, and the matching carpets are protected by Porsche-branded floor mats. Amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, and a CD stereo with Bose surround sound.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames instrumentation including a central 8k-rpm tachometer, a 175-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates under 35k miles.
The 2.7-liter flat-six is mounted behind the passenger compartment and sends power to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. A replacement battery was installed in January 2021 and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale. The seller notes that the IMS bearing has not been replaced.
